Our Mission
VPMS is a pioneering women's auto drivers' union, originally organized by ACE. We empower women in traditionally male-dominated sectors, creating opportunities for economic independence and collective strength.

Registered women's auto drivers' union in Chennai, providing structure and recognition for women in the transportation sector.
Collectivization & Economic Security
Cooperative model ensuring consistent income and collective bargaining power for all our members.

Working with local authorities on women-only pickup spots and other supportive initiatives to enhance safety and accessibility.

Regular workshops on storytelling, financial literacy, and advocacy to empower our members with essential life skills.
Expansion to Other Sectors
Moving beyond auto driving to include gig workers, home nursing, rag picking, and more sectors where women need support.
